This 255,000 sq ft office building, designed by world renowned architects Kohn Pedersen Fox, will be the latest addition to Paddington Central.
Two Kingdom Street is the latest addition to Paddington Central, an estate constructed to achieve the highest standards of green excellence. Two Kingdom Street has been designed and built with sustainability as its focus, earning an anticipated brEEAM rating of 'Excellent'.
During the design of Two Kingdom Street a Sustainability Matrix was developed by the design team. This included all aspects of the environmental, social and economic elements of the building and ensured that all statutory and non-statutory sustainability initiatives such as site waste management, energy use and water use were achieved.
The project aims to measure the embodied carbon footprint enabling a better understanding of how to measure and reduce the embodied green house gas emissions, the cost of carbon offsetting, and how the supply chain should operate to enable low carbon buildings.
Along with an anticipated 'Excellent' brEEAM rating the building is anticipated to achieve a higher rating than benchmarked by the Government for the Energy Performance Certificate.

The first phase of around 600,000 sq ft included 350,000 sq ft of offices in two buildings, 210 residential units, retail and leisure all focused around the newly created amphitheatre in Sheldon Square and along the canal. This phase was completed in 2002.
A four star Novotel and 265,000 sq ft cutting edge office space One Kingdom Street, formed the next phase along the southern side of Kingdom Street and was completed in 2008. Construction of Two Kingdom Street also commenced during this year.
